Mountbatten Gallery - the Home of Romsey Art Group - is housed in a Victorian church on the Broadlands Estate. The church is the heart & soul of our Art Group and we are very fortunate to be its current custodians. It’s an inspiring and historic space, surrounded by countryside.

We are delighted to welcome Karl Rudziak, who will be doing a Portrait demo for us.

Karl has a very interesting take on art which you will see from his website and this promises to be a fascinating demo evening.

Rudziak is best known for his painting of John Portsmouth Football Club Westwood exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in 2009. His work resides in private and public hands, as part of Portsmouth city art collection, Portsmouth Football Club and the Royal Navy. As well as the National Portrait Gallery, he has been exhibited at the National Galleries of Scotland, the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the Royal Society of Marine Artists and is featured in the book 500 portraits: BP Portrait Award
