Historical Snippets from the Romsey Art Group Archive No.4

On 28th July 1966 Romsey Art Group signed the first lease on the Lee Church, which after closure five years earlier was in a sorry state.  It had been used as a hay storage barn where chickens roamed freely, as well as a few mice and rats!  There was no water and no electricity.  Members set about renovating it to make it fit for purpose.
